Dr. Cheryl Cui is a Co-Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer at Bota Biosciences. She serves as Board Member at HiFiBiO Therapeutics. She as a Partner at Nest.Bio Labs. She is a Co-Founder & serves as Board Member at Rootpath. She served as a Venture Partner at Venture Health. She serves as a Venture Partner at InCube Ventures. She has a passion for identifying promising technologies that address unmet clinical needs. With a background in biomedical engineering, specifically in cell therapy and synthetic biology, She is interested in creating medical solutions to improve clinical outcomes. Prior to her current role, she worked at Danen Ventures, where she managed deal flow, conducted due diligence, and evaluated early-stage technologies in the healthcare sector. She earned her joint PhD degree in Medical Engineering and Medical Physics from MIT and Harvard Medical School. Her research in building synthetic gene circuits and molecular systems have lead to publications in Science and Nature journals. She received her B.A.Sc. in Engineering Science and Biomedical Engineer from the University of Toronto.
