Mr. François Derbaix is a Co-Founder & serves as Co-Chief Executive Officer at Indexa Capital. Mr. Derbaix is a Co-Founder & serves as an Advisor at Soysuper. He began his professional career at The Boston Consulting Group, in Belgium and Paris. In 2000 he moved to Madrid and founded Toprural. At a time when new technologies were going through a difficult stage, and in a sector not very inclined to the use of the internet, Mr. Derbaix managed to launch the leading rural tourism website in Europe, with a presence in 10 countries and a turnover in 2009 of 4, € 5M. From 2003 to 2012 he also participated as co-founder of Rentalia (sold to Idealista in March 2012). Mr. Derbaix is also a Business Angel in several startups in the sector such as 11870.com, Kantox, Deporvillage, Ducksboard, and Mumumio. In April 2012, the purchase of Toprural by HomeAway (Nasdaq: AWAY), the largest online market for vacation rentals, was made official. Since then, Mr. Derbaix has dedicated his time to supporting new internet projects and becoming a professional business angel in the ICT sector. He is also co-founder, since May 2012, of Soysuper, a new type of online supermarket.
