Description

Mr. Laurent Burelle serves as Chief Executive Officer & Chairman at Burelle Participations. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors at OPmobility. He started his career, within the Plastic Omnium group, as a manufacturing engineer, assistant to the Director of the Langres plant. In 1977, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer and then Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Plastic Omnium SA in Valence (Spain). From 1981 to 1988, he held the position of Director of the Environment - Urban Systems Division before becoming Vice-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Compagnie Plastic Omnium in 1988. He was appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Compagnie Plastic Omnium in July 2001 until December 31, 2019. Mr. Burelle is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Compagnie Plastic Omnium SE. Appointed Chief Executive Officer of Burelle SA on June 30, 1986, he was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer on May 15, 2001. Mr. Burelle has been Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Burelle SA since January 1, 2019. He has also been Chairman of AFEP since May 2017. Mr. Burelle is also a director of the Jacques Chirac Foundation. He is a graduate of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) and holds a Master of Sciences in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
