He is at home in established and emerging markets and has worked all over the world, though recent years have seen heightened focus and success in Latin America, Europe, Silicon Valley and rest of US. Amongst his most notable recent investments is the 2010 Scandinavian startup, Tradeshift, a cloud-based business network and free invoicing platform, which now serves more than 800 000 businesses and was valued at USD600 million in its most recent funding round. Other recent examples of Morten's investment foresight and judgement include the US Healthcare portal, Healthcare.com, and the US Internet fund, Peoplefund.com. Morten started out in the 1980's chemical industry, and has progressed via telecommunications and digital TV in the 1990's, to where he is now - a high-profile VC with a global portfolio focused on major-impact startups across Technology and Property.
