He is an Israeli-American venture capitalist and the Founding Partner of Group 11, a Los Angeles-based venture capital firm dedicated to supporting disruptive Israeli-related software companies from their inception through their global expansion.Over the course of his career, he has strategically invested over $600 million in software companies that have gone on to become some of Silicon Valley's most innovative and disruptive financial technology software platforms, including Tipalti, Navan (fka TripActions), Next Insurance, Sunbit, HomeLight, and Masterschool, to name a few. he is the youngest member to ever be elected to the Board of Governors of the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and serves on the Steering Committee of the Israel Collaboration Network (ICON). He is also a co-founder of The Institute - Israel's AI Advancement Center which represents a national collaborative endeavor to bolster Israel's competitive technological edge through extensive research and development of artificial intelligence.Prior to launching Group 11 in 2012, he spent nearly a decade in the financial services industry. He launched and managed an independent financial advisory firm, and also served as Vice President at Deutsche Bank AG Private Bank (NYSE: DB). He currently serves on the boards of most of Group 11's portfolio companies, including Tipalti, Sunbit, Masterschool, Healthee, BridgeWise, and Lili, to name a few. He is also an Advisor to Navan (fka TripActions). He earned his Bachelor's degree from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and went on to earn his MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
