Description
Mr. Uwe Frers co-founded and served as Chief Executive Officer at Escapio. He started his career as a management trainee for new media at the publishing group Handelsblatt (Holtzbrinck). In 2000, he moved on to the online stock exchange information service Finanztreff.de, taking over the management board division of marketing and sales and acquiring a share in the company in 2001. After selling his shares in 2004, he moved into the tourism industry to combine his passion for hotels and travel with his online skills. In 2006, he founded TripsByTips, the online travel guide presenting tips from travelers for travelers, where he also serves as the General Manager.
