Mr. Gaurav Burman served as Board Member at Mitsu. He served as Director at Burman Family Holdings. He served as a Director at Burman Estate. He also serves as Nominee Director at DMI Finance. He is a Director of Dabur International and a 5th generation member of the family who founded Dabur over 130 years ago. In 1996, he and his family started to invest in new businesses as India started to liberalize and de-regulate many industries including investments in Health Care, Media, Financial Services, Retail and Education and have multiple joint ventures with Global Fortune 100 businesses including Aviva for Life Insurance, Espirito Santo for Banking, Bongrain for dairy products and previously with Fidelity and ABN Amro. He manages his family's investment program, which has an investment portfolio with a value of more than US$1 billion and has been responsible for many of these joint ventures and investments. He also sits on the Board of Dabur International, the holding company for Dabur international activities which include FMCG manufacturing operations in Sri Lanka, the Middle East, Africa and the US, Dabur International recently acquired FMCG businesses in Turkey and the US and will look to grow globally over time. He is a board member of Dabur International, DMI Finance, Espirito Santo India, Amar Chitra Katha, Future Ventures, Healthcare at Home India and Berkely Health EDU. He graduated from Tufts University in 1993 with a dual BA in Economics and History. He is on the International Board of Tufts University and also a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO).
