Mr. Keith Nilsson is a Co-Founder and serves as Managing Partner at Xplorer Capital. He serves as Board Member Wingcopter. He serves as Advisor at Smile Group. He serves as a Board Member of CANVAS Technology, CloudCall, Lacuna, Scalefast, and MaxQ AI. He serves as a Managing Partner of Visionnaire Ventures. Prior to Visionnaire, he was a Partner with TPG Growth and XplorerCapital, both growth equity funds where he focused on global internet investment opportunities. Prior to TPG and Xplorer, he held various executive roles at Yahoo! His most recent roles were SVP of Global Initiatives and SVP of Emerging Markets Group. As one of Yahoo!'s four geographic regions, his Emerging Markets territories spanned from Latin America to Southeast Asia, India, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Africa. Prior to this role, he was Vice President of Corporate Development for Yahoo!, responsible for all of the company's investments, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic partnership activities. During his tenure in Corporate Development, he directly led or oversaw over 40 acquisitions, investments, or joint ventures worth more than $25 billion in transaction value, including Alibaba, Overture, Flickr, and many others. Prior to joining Yahoo!, he worked in technology at Intel Corporation and investment banking and equity research with Bankers Trust and Alex Brown in New York and Hong Kong. He has lived and worked internationally for more than fifteen years across both Asia and Europe; and has traveled extensively, having visited over 70 countries. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a board member of the non-profit Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), and also sits on various boards of start-up technology companies. He holds a bachelor of arts from the University of California, Davis, an MBA from Columbia Business School, and a Master of International Affairs from Columbia's School of International Affairs.
