Mr. Steve Chaddick serves as Managing Director at Ridgewood Advisors. Mr. Chaddick serves as a Board Member at Atlanta Technology Angels. He founded Ridgewood Advisors in 2004 as a vehicle for angel investing, nurturing the community of emerging technology companies in the Atlanta area, and facilitating technology commercialization. Mr. Chaddick served as Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer of CIENA Corporation, responsible for overall corporate strategy and product direction. He has 30+ years of experience in the Telecom and related industries and has served on the Board of Directors of the Optical Internetworking Forum, Terabit Technology, and Vistascape Security Systems, and Asankya Networks. Mr. Chaddick is an active volunteer in the Georgia Tech community, currently serving as a Trustee of the Georgia Tech Foundation, Chair of the advisory board of the School of Engineering, a member of the advisory board of the College of Engineering, a trustee of the Georgia Tech Research Corporation and an advisor to Georgia Tech Venture Lab. He was endowed the Steve W. Chaddick Chair in Electro-Optics in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and the Electrical and Computer Engineering School Chair. Mr. Chaddick received both his M.S. and B.S. in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology where he is a member of the Georgia Tech Academy of Distinguished Engineering Alumni.
