Mr. Craig Powell served as Strategic Advisor, Software at Diversis Capital. Craig is a software and Internet executive with experience in growth, turn around and roll-up business environments. Craig has built companies from inception to industry leadership positions as well as consolidating assets to create growth platforms. Previously he served as the Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer at ConnectEDU. Craig established ConnectEDU as the industry leader in student transitions and human capital development, capturing a significant share of the college-bound and entry level talent within the United States while establishing himself as an industry thought leader on trends and issues surrounding human capital development. As CEO, Mr. Powell built an experienced team of seasoned managers and outside directors, whom he transitioned day to day operations, as well as creating a scalable staffing and professional development model to support the Company's rapid growth. Mr. Powell's operational experiences include identifying acquisition targets, integrating and growing them; successfully selling into, negotiating and delivering product to some of the most difficult customer segments at scale government, education, fortune 100, non-profits, and small businesses as well as domestic and international business operations. Craig has deep experience with data, data privacy, security and data driven business models as well as hardware, service oriented architectures (SOA), infrastructure on demand technical environments and technology platform migrations. Prior to pursuing his own entrepreneurial and operational pursuits, Mr. Powell had a variety of experiences with various investment banking firms, asset and mortgage backed securities originators and investors, as well as working in the private equity industry. Craig is a graduate of Brown University with a degree in Business Economics. He also serves as Chief Executive Officer at Motus. He is also an Angel Investor.
