Mr. Charlie Plauche serves as a Partner at S3 Ventures. He serves as Board Member at UpEquity, Hyas, Stellar, Atmosphere, Upkey, Levelset, and Interplay Learning. He serves as Board Member at IFM Restoration. He was a Board Member at Alkami Technology, LeanDNA, Pristine & Tango Health, and OutboundEngine. He serves as Advisor at BrainCheck. His responsibilities include sourcing and evaluating investments in the technology and medical device sectors, performing due diligence, and portfolio company management. Previously, Charlie was with Harbert Private Equity Funds, a subsidiary of Harbert Management Corporation. At Harbert, Charlie analyzed and structured leveraged buyouts in the healthcare and manufacturing sectors and assisted with portfolio management. Prior to Harbert, Charlie was a Commercial Portfolio Manager with Regions Bank, where he financed working capital and expansion needs for businesses. In his spare time, Charlie serves as Vice President of the board for the Austin chapter of the Young Texans Against Cancer, a non-profit that raises money for local Austin charities that fight cancer. He received his MBA from the McCombs School at the University of Texas in Austin and his BS in Finance from the University of Mississippi, where he was a Holmes Scholarship recipient and a Mississippi Eminent Scholar.
