Mr. Elis Nemes serves as Chairman at CloudBackend. He served as Capital Partner at Stockholms Affärsänglar. He has over 30 years of experience in leading positions in global IT companies. With its base in London over the past 15 years, Elis has been both investors and contributors to start and lead EMEA operations in several successful US based IT companies such as Black Ridge Technology Inc., which supplies security solutions for military and civilian purposes, as well as Arcot International activities within EMEA - Specialists in digital signatures and authentication, including to banks and financial institutions. Elis Started Sun Microsystems in the Nordic region and led its operations in Eastern Europe as well. Under his leadership, the Nordic Telecom companies grew among the largest customers of Sun Microsystems. Then Elis became the market leader for the global telecom market from the London office. With this in mind, Elis has a solid background in technology companies' international operations and global establishment and expansion of cross-border business as well as helping young companies in their start-up phase.
