Mr. F. Scott Moody is a Co-Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Mission Officer, Chief Member Advocate and Chairman of K4Connect. He was previously the CEO and Co-founder of AuthenTec where he raised $70M in venture capital and took the Company public prior to its acquisition by Apple. AuthenTec remains the only public company ever acquired by Apple, was its second-largest at the time, and its product is now the TouchID. Prior to AuthenTec, he was a senior-level executive within Harris Semiconductor where he had responsibility for a $200 million semiconductor business unit. Over the years he has been featured on TV and in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, CNBC Squawk Box, Entrepreneur, New York Times, Fortune, and others. He is a frequent speaker at investor, corporate, and university events on both innovation and entrepreneurship, and is often a judge at various startup programs in the US, Rwanda, and Ghana. He received a BS in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University and an executive MBA from the University of Florida.
