Ms. Margaret Charles-Horn served as the Board of Director, Chief Legal & Corporate Development Officer at Africa Mobile Networks. She has twenty years of experience working closely with entrepreneurs, providing strategic business development and legal advice to privately-held growing companies as well as established publicly traded companies. Meg has built a successful career by using the law and her keen business acumen to provide solutions and strategic guidance to assist businesses in executing their growth strategies. Meg has held key leadership roles in a variety of cross-cultural and entrepreneurial settings as equity partner in a US based international law firm, Head of Strategy of telecommunications start-up, Deputy General Counsel of Orange Business Services and, as a Member of the Executive Leadership Team and General Counsel of the GSM Association. Meg has domain expertise in the telecommunications /technology sector with substantial experience in managing mergers and acquisitions, U.S securities laws, strategic planning and execution, corporate compliance, and organizational development. Meg is a member of the Board of Trustees of the African Technology Foundation and a member of the District of Columbia bar Association.
