Mr. James Perry is a Co-Founder and serves as Managing Director, Telecom, Media, and Technology Services at Madison Dearborn Partners. He served as Investor & Advisor at Glass Lake Capital. He served as Board Member at Liquid Web. He serves as Advisory Board Member & Investor at Financial Services Capital. He serves as Board Member at Asurion. Prior to co-founding MDP, he was with First Chicago Venture Capital for eight years. Previously, he was with The First National Bank of Chicago. He currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Asurion Corporation, Centennial Towers, Intermedia.net, Inc., The Topps Company, Chicago Public Media, and NexGen Capital Partners. In addition, he is on the Board of Overseers of the University of Pennsylvania School of Arts and Sciences, serves on the Finance Council of the Archdiocese of Chicago, and is the Chairman of the Board of Empower Illinois.
