Before Merkle, he was SVP and GM of DoubleClick's Email Solutions division, the world's largest email service provider at the time. An experienced entrepreneur, he previously founded two digital technology firms - Veripost and Assurance Systems - both were acquired by Return Path. Earlier he was Vice President of Interactive Services at Brierley & Partners. He holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University and an MBA from Harvard University. He also served as Board Member at Format Dynamics.
