Mr. Chynoweth began his position at Dyn in 2007 after serving as outside legal counsel to the company starting in 2005. Prior to joining Dyn, Mr. Chynoweth practiced law as a Corporate Attorney at Sheehan Phinney Bass & Green. He is a founder of the NH Startup Challenge, a founding investor in TechOut, a leading force behind the combination of organizations that formed the AlphaLoft, and a mentor for young entrepreneurs at the Nantucket Conference. He is also the founder of Culture-Con, a conference that brings company and HR leaders together to talk about and improve workplace culture. He has founded, led, and served as a board member on a long list of non-profit organizations including StayWorkPlay, whose mission is to attract and retain the next generation of New Hampshire talent, and ICANN's Registrar Stakeholder Group, whose mission is to represent domain name registrars within the ICANN administrative framework. Mr. Chynoweth has a JD from Duke University School of Law, an MA in Public Policy from Duke University, and a BA in political science from the University of California-Berkeley, where he graduated magna cum laude.
