Description

Mr. Peter Corsell serves as a Partner at I Squared Capital. He leads the firm's technology funds and is a member of the firm's Operating Committee. He is a Co-Founder at HighDegree. He is Chairman of Atlantic Power & Utilities, a power generation and infrastructure company. He is Chairman of GridPoint, a clean technology company, which he founded in 2003 and led as CEO until 2010. He also serves on the Board of Directors at Saige, Fermata Energy, and WealthCentral; and is a member of the Yale School of Architecture Dean's Council. Earlier in his career, he served with the Central Intelligence Agency and the U.S. Department of State in Havana, Cuba. Prior to joining I Squared, he co-founded and served as Managing Partner at Twenty First Century Utilities, a private investment firm in the electric power sector, which was acquired by I Squared in 2019. He has been interviewed on Charlie Rose and featured in several books including Hot, Flat, and Crowded by Tom Friedman, Perfect Power by Robert Galvin and Kurt Yeager, Earth: The Sequel by Fred Krupp, The Clean Tech Revolution by Ron Pernick and Clint Wilder, and Our Woman in Havana by Ambassador Vicki Huddleston. MIT Technology Review recognized him as one of the world's top innovators under age 35, the World Economic Forum named him a Young Global Leader, and the National Association of Corporate Directors included him on its inaugural list of leading directors under 40. He is an angel investor. He holds a BSFS degree from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
