Mr. Jason Stoffer serves as Partner at Maveron. He also is an Angel Investor. He serves as Board Member at Lovevery, Imperfect Foods, Keeps, Dolly, Julep, Latimer Education and Red Tricycle. He serves as Board Member at TrueFacet. He is focused on investing in education, e-commerce and technology-enabled consumer businesses. He joined Maveron in 2007 from education services provider Career Education Corp., where he co-founded and drove admissions and marketing strategy for IADT Online, a for-profit design school and a wholly owned Career-Ed subsidiary. Stoffer was an early Board member at zulily. He was a Board Member at General Assembly. He also led several of Maveron IV's most promising Seed investments, including CourseHero and Everlane. He serves on the Board of Fund V investment Dolls Kill and also sourced Peach, a Fund V investment. He was formerly a member of the advisory board of the Lumina Foundation's Next Generation Learning Initiative. He is also a mentor for TechStars. Previously, he was a board member of Startl, an education incubator. He regularly speaks at conferences, including the Venture Capital in Education Summit, The Software & Information Industry Association Ed Tech Summit, LeadsCon, and Silicon Valley Comes to the UK. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan (BA economics) and the Wharton School at the University Of Pennsylvania (MBA).
