Description

Mr. Kenelm Storey serves as Chairman at Helperby Therapeutics. He was a Non-Executive Director of Portsmouth and Sunderland Newspapers PLC, in which his family had a substantial shareholding, from 1992 until it was acquired by Johnston Press PLC in 1999. Having worked for Cablevision Systems Corporation in New York, 1986 - 88, he was, meanwhile, working for Guardian Newspapers Ltd, where he started as sales executive of The Guardian International in 1988 and finished as General Manager of the International Publishing Department (for The Guardian and The Observer). Since 1999, he has been an investor in and, sometimes, Director of a variety of mainly new and mainly media businesses. The most notable of which has been Financial News, in which he invested in 2000, which was sold in two stages - the online eFinancialcareers business to Dice in 2006 and the printed publication to Dow Jones in 2007 - achieving a substantial profit.
