Mr. Joachim Vandaele is a Founding Partner & serves as Partner at Wright Partners. He is an Angel Investor. He serves as a Board Member at Trusted Family. For over two decades, he has been building businesses in financial services, technology, media, and family office space across Europe and Southeast Asia. He has taken on building, operating, and investing roles at both independent and corporate-backed businesses, and is an educator in the venture-building field. He is a co-founder of Wright Partners, a Corporate Venture Builder; and leads its EU-ME office. Wright Partners build 'risk-aligned, investable corporate ventures' - from initial idea to external Series A in 18 months. In 3 years since incorporation, they have built 25 ventures for business-owning families and enterprises like Standard Chartered, Engie, UBS, and Keppel Land. WP seeks to take an equity position in the ventures they build. WP is appointed by EDB Singapore as part of the Corporate Venture Launchpad. At INSEAD, He is the Director of the Startup Bootcamp, teaches Corporate Entrepreneurship, and also serves as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence. To house his independently built ventures, He cofounded Zephyr Ventures. The firm acts as an operating partner to funders and founders; and manages a portfolio of dozen ventures across SEA and Europe. As part of the Zephyr portfolio, He has been at the helm of Trusted Family - an HNW family-backed governance platform for family offices, family businesses, and boards, and of Found8 - Asia's leading network and home for innovation-centric organizations. He has an MBA from INSEAD (10D), a Masters in Banking & Finance from Ghent University, and a Master's in Financial & Investment Management.
