Mr. Anurag Goel serves as a General Partner at Cactus Venture Partners. Mr. Goel is a Co-Founder and serves as Executive Chairman at Cactus. He Co-Founded and served as Board Member, Chief Technology Officer, and Vice President, Software Development at Altierre. He also serves as a Senior Advisor at Serendipity Capital. He has been the driving force in shaping the organization from a start-up to a global company with offices in Japan, the US, the UK, China, South Korea, Singapore, and India. Today, CACTUS is recognized for its benchmark people practices and was recognized by the Great Places to Work Institute as India's Best Mid-sized Workplace in 2017. In the early days, he adopted a hands-on role by supervising delivery teams, defining quality standards, and directly managing top performers. Now, he focuses on strategy, business development, and grooming leaders to take CACTUS to the next level. Before establishing CACTUS, he worked for McKinsey & Co. from 1998 to 2001 (Amsterdam and India) where he handled projects in corporate finance and strategy for companies in diverse industries: logistics, metals and mining, steel, telecommunications, and financial services. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Wharton School of Business and a BAS in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania as a graduate of the prestigious Jerome Fisher Dual Degree Program in Management and Technology. He also serves as a Board Member at Auric.
