Mr. Kayvon Beykpour is an Angel Investor. He co-founded and served as Chief Executive Officer at PeriscopeTV. He formerly served as the Chief Executive Officer. He served as General Manager for Bluebird at Twitter. He served as a General Manager & Senior Executive, Blackboard Mobile at Blackboard. He is the Co-Founder of Terriblyclever Design and served as its Chief Executive Officer. His responsibilities include overseeing mobile product development and engineering, mobile sales and marketing, support and operations. Kayvon and the Mobile team work to keep Blackboard on the leading edge of mobility by creating rich and engaging mobile applications that are functionally powerful, beautifully designed, and contextually relevant. Moreover, the San Francisco-based Mobile team prides itself on its unique and fun start-up culture. Kayvon co-founded a company called Terriblyclever Design, which was acquired by Blackboard in 2009 to form Blackboard Mobile. Terriblyclever's passion was to bridge the gap between traditional enterprise-based, mobile-unfriendly university services and the plethora of powerful mobile devices used by students and teachers. While at Stanford University, Kayvon and Terriblyclever created the nascent version of their mobile platform, iStanford, which put many of Stanford's web services into an engaging user experience on the iPhone. Within six months, Terriblyclever had deployed mobile applications for ten of the most prominent educational institutions in the U.S. Kayvon has a determined passion for creating engaging user-experiences on mobile devices. He and the rest of the Blackboard Mobile team work hard to make sure that passion is refreshingly apparent in all of Blackboard's mobile products. He is graduated from Stanford University in 2010 with a degree in Computer Science and a focus in Human Computer Interaction.
