Jonathan Struhl General Information

Description

Mr. Jonathan Struhl is a Co-Founder and General Partner of Indicator Ventures. He is a Board Member at Gift of Life Biologics. As a fifth-generation entrepreneur, Jonathan has been in the start-up technology and CPG scene his entire life. Prior to founding Indicator, Jonathan was at 100MileGroup, a brand incubator helping launch dozen of startup companies such a Zico Coconut Water, Marquee Jet, Vouch, and others. Before that, Jonathan was Co-founder of Kodiak Samurai, a New York City based digital agency catering to complex global brand clients including Amazon's Audible.com, Rollingstone Magazine and Polaroid, among others, where he carved out a niche of helping vet countless emerging and frontier tech platforms for his clients. Previously, Mr. Struhl founded Socialosity, a digital marketing company connecting brands with top tier celebrities and influencers through social media. At Socialosity, Jonathan worked with some of the world's top athletes and entertainers including LeBron James, Serena Williams, Pitbull and Chris Paul. Prior to Socialosity, he was the Director of Marketing and Digital Assets at Sheets Brand Energy and Sleep Strips, and helped launch their national advertising campaign. Jonathan has gained a deep understanding of storytelling, messaging, branding and productizing while working at 100 Mile Group, a New York City based brand incubator. Mr. Struhl has built an impressive network of entrepreneurs, VCs and executives in the NYC area where he has lived for the past 10+ years. He runs a founder/VC basketball league, and as a marathon runner, organizes a Pitch and Run group. He currently serves as Director or Observer of Airspace Link, Co-op Commerce, Dandy, Goodpath, Ianacare, Netomi, Pienso, Treno and Wade & Wendy. Mr. Struhl grew up in South Florida and currently lives in New York City with his wife Nicole and is a graduate of Yeshiva University, Sy Syms Business School. After donating bone marrow to a mother of four suffering from Leukemia, Jonathan was asked to join the Board of Gift of Life, a leading bone marrow, stem cell and gene therapy organization that has directly saved thousands of lives (and which facilitated the match between Jonathan and his recipient). He is extremely passionate about helping cure those with blood, bone and other cancers through tissue typing and cellular and gene therapy. Jonathan was recently made Chair of Gift of Life Biologics, a newly-formed, for-profit affiliate serving as a source for cell and gene therapy developers needing high quality, consistent, timely and cost-effective starting material, powering research through commercialization. He serves as Board Member and Board Observer at Netomi.
