Dr. Apoorva Sharma serves as Co-Founder at Venture Catalysts (Mumbai). He also serves as an Investment Committee Member at Spyre. He is a Co-Founder of Beams Fintech Fund. He served as an Executive Vice President at VentureNursery. He serves as an Advisor at GetVantage and Callify.ai. Dr. Sharma is the Co-Founder and serves as Managing Director at 9Unicorns. He has been instrumental in developing the startup ecosystem since early 2000. He serves as a Board Member at phase and has been a pioneer in establishing incubators in India. He has established over a dozen incubators & accelerators, incubation funds, and family office funds i.e. VentureNursery, Amity Innovation Incubator, Somaiya Incubator (RIDDLE), Mata Vaishno Devi University Incubator, Indian Angel Network Incubator. He is the recipient of the prestigious Best Incubator Award given by the President of India, for outstanding performance of JSS Incubator. Dr. Sharma has a Ph.D. in Incubation from Amity University, Noida, and BTech in Engineering from HBTI, Kanpur, and a diploma in Mentor Studies from Berkley Institute of Management, University of California, USA. Dr. Sharma is known as the 'Fund Manager with Highest Returns'. He is one of the top 10 angel investors in India, rated by VCCircle 2016. He also holds an MBA in Marketing & Finance from Asia Pacific Institue of Management.
