Susan Margolin


Ms. Susan Margolin serves as the President, Docurama & Special Acquisitions at Cinedigm Digital Cinema. She co-founded New Video Group with Steve Savage in 1991 and built it into a successful and prestigious home entertainment distributor. When it was acquired by Cinedigm, Margolin became co-president of Cinedigm Entertainment Group (CEG), where she led the content and marketing groups. Under Margolin, the company acquired the critically acclaimed Short Term 12, Godfrey Reggio's The Visitors, as well as OscarĀ®-nominated films including The Invisible War, Hell and Back Again, GasLand, and Paradise Lost 3: Purgatory. Margolin will continue to hold a leadership role at Cinedigm as the company absorbs Gaiam Vivendi and looks for future growth. Margolin's reputation as a sales and marketing powerhouse has been accrued over 25 years in the distribution business. A graduate of Brown University, she is a board member of BAFTA/NY and serves on the advisory board of the IFP and New York Women in Film and Television.
