Mr. David Farquhar served as Chief Executive Officer and Board Member at IGS. He also served as Board Member at Swipii. He also serves as Chief Operating Officer at WorkForce Software. He is an Angel Investor. He served as Group Chief Executive Officer at Workplace Systems International. Previously he served as Executive Chairman at Workplace Systems. As Executive Chairman of Workplace, he contributes a wealth of experience gained through his background as a serial entrepreneur, turned angel investor, turned venture capitalist. As an independent entrepreneur, he co-founded or invested in several innovative companies that brought to market a range of solutions and products from mobile applications, 3G wireless infrastructure technologies to drinks brand management, an online recruitment service for the film industry and a brewpub chain. The early 1990s saw him grow and sell innovative companies in Scandinavia before founding the Idesta Group in 2001; which grew to become the largest provider of mobile enterprise applications in EMEA in just 18 months. He led Interactive University from 2003 to 2005, a global higher education e-Learning developer and distributor. He then founded 2in10 in late 2005 advising over 100 companies, helping them achieve the skills and the necessary investment to drive international sales growth. At present, he chairs the Industrial Advisory Board at the University of Dundee's School of Computing where he is also an Honorary Lecturer in Product Management & Marketing. He has also helped grow a number of international technology companies based in Scotland such as HoundDog Technology and Embedded Technology Solutions.
