Prof. Michael Heuken is an angel investor. Prof. Michael Heuken is the technology counsel and one of the early investors of SiPhoton. Prof. Heuken is currently VP of Technology of AIXTRON, the world largest LED manufacturing equipment supplier, and a professor in University of Aachen. Prof. Heuken is also the member of the Aixtron China and Taiwan Scientific Advisory Board. He is responsible for the coordination of AIXTRON's global collaborations with Universities, research laboratories, and industrial strategic partners. Prof. Heuken was President of DGKK (German Crystal Growth Association) from 2002 to 2005, is currently elected Executive Committee member of the IOCG (International Organization of Crystal Growth), member of VDE/ITG and board member of OptechNet e.V. Prof. Heuken is considered at one of the world most renowned expert in LED growth. Prof. Heuken received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Duisburg University in 1989.
