Description
Shell Netherlands Pension Fund (SSPF) is a single-employer corporate pension fund based in Apeldoorn, Netherlands. Established in 1984, the plan provides pension benefits to the employees of Royal Dutch Shell, a company that explores for, produces, and refines petroleum. Shell Pensioenbureau Nederland (SPN) is the management company that administers the pension fund and Shell Asset Management Company is responsible for managing the assets of the pension fund. The pension fund has an advisory council, which comprises twelve members representing the participants and pension beneficiaries. Further, the pension operates through an investment committee and an internal supervision committee. The assets of the plan are managed by the board members.
