Description

Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation Pension Plan is a single-employer corporate pension plan based in Ottawa, Ontario. The plan is a compulsory contributory pension plan for all employees who satisfy certain eligibility conditions. Under the CMHC Plan, contributions are made by the CMHC Plan members and the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation. The CMHC Plan had a defined benefit and a defined contribution component. The DB component applies to employees hired prior to April 4, 2013, and the DC component applies to new employees hired on and after April 4, 2013. The assets of the plan are managed by the executive management team.
