Biography

Mr. Tyler Kim serves as Global Head of Fund Services at Maples Group. He served as the Global Head of Fund Services at MaplesFS. He is the Global Head of the Maples Group's fund services business and is a member of the executive management team. He oversees fund accounting, investor services, data management, information systems, operational compliance, and business development professionals that deliver fund administration, middle-office outsourcing, and regulatory compliance solutions to hedge funds, private asset funds, and institutional investors. Drawing on three decades of experience in the asset management industry and management consulting, He works closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions. His accomplishments in partnering with institutional investors and asset managers were recognized for six consecutive years (2012-2017) on Institutional Investor's Tech 40 list, a global ranking of those who lead the financial services industry in technological achievement and innovation. He leads the Maples Group's Montreal office which he helped to launch. In 2021 and 2022, the Maples Group was named one of Montreal's Top Employers.
