Biography

Ms. Stacie Rader serves as Senior Partner at Flagship Pioneering. She joined Flagship Ventures in 2014 and focuses on talent acquisition and development for Flagship and for VentureLabs portfolio companies. She works with the firm's portfolio companies and provides guidance on areas of human capital, including executive leadership, recruiting, compensation and corporate governance. Stacie was previously Senior Vice President, Executive Operations & Human Resources at BG Medicine. Since 2000, Stacie has consulted for numerous Flagship portfolio companies on HR operational issues. She has particular expertise in team building, staffing, and organizational development as well as compensation and benefits design and implementation. Previously, she was Corporate Director of Worldwide Employment and Staffing for Applera Corporation (now Applied Biosystems) following the merger of Perkin Elmer and PerSeptive Biosystems. Stacie was responsible for all human resources functions at PerSeptive and during this period, she oversaw the hiring of 600 global employees and the implementation of core HR processes and programs as well as equity and compensation structures to accommodate the company's rapid growth. She was also a key member of corporate due diligence teams for a number of PerSeptive acquisitions and was instrumental in the integration and assimilation process for the Perkin Elmer-PerSeptive merger and held an interim Vice President, Human Resources, role at Celera Genomics. Stacie received a BS in Business from Babson College.
