Robert Kaplan General Information
Biography
Mr. Robert Kaplan served as Board Member at State Street. He served as Executive Vice President at State Street. In this role, he is responsible for the daily processing of all transaction related activities and the design and service delivery of the global operating model. In addition, Bob has oversight over State Street's Investment Manager Services group that focuses on investment manager clients using State Street's middle-office services. Bob has been with State Street for more than 30 years and has held a variety of management positions. Most recently, Bob led the integration of the Investors Bank and Trust acquisition. Prior to that, he ran the Cash and Payments Processing groups. From May 1993 through June 2001, he worked in the Toronto office, where his responsibilities included offshore and Canadian mutual funds. In 1997, Bob was named chief operating officer for State Street's Investor Services business in Canada. Between July 2001 and February 2003, he played a crucial role in global business development, where his responsibilities included strategic acquisitions, joint ventures and large, multinational outsourcing opportunities, including UBS and Scottish Widows.
