Biography

Mr. Danny Gowan serves as a Consultant at DAC Beachcroft. He served as Senior Partner at Davies Arnold Cooper. Danny specializes in advising on disputes in the construction, civil and mechanical engineering sectors. Much of Danny's work is international involving arbitration and dispute resolution on major projects. He also has wide experience of a variety of insurance matters, advising on all aspects of professional indemnity, contractors all risks and public liability insurance. In addition to extensive litigation and arbitration experience, Danny has undertaken a wide range of non-contentious work domestically and internationally involving drafting and amending construction and engineering contracts and advising on parent company guarantees, performance guarantees and bonds and on-demand bonds. He has advised banks, insurers and other providers of bonds on their form of wording. Danny has lectured and written on all aspects of construction and engineering.
