Biography

Dr. Barry Heath is a Co-Founder & serves as Board Member at ThinkMD. Barry was an undergraduate at Dartmouth College and received his medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. He was an intern at the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont, a Junior and Senior Assistant Resident and Fellow in Pediatric Intensive Care at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. He has been elected a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Chest Physicians, and the American College of Critical Care Medicine. He is Professor of Pediatrics and Anesthesiology at the University of Vermont College of Medicine and Chief of the Division of Inpatient and Critical Care Pediatrics at the University of Vermont Children's Hospital. His teaching awards include: Department of Pediatrics Teacher of the Year, University of Vermont Kroepsch-Maurice Excellence in Teaching, and University of Vermont Medical Group Graduate Medical Education Teacher of the Year. He received Presidential Citations for his work for the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
