Biography
Mr. Sanat Rao served as a General Partner at BlockTower Capital. At BlockTower Capital, he leads the market-neutral crypto fund and also focuses on early-stage investments in the Web3 space. He was previously the managing director and co-founder at Gamma Point Capital, a leading market-neutral hedge fund acquired by BlockTower Capital. Prior to Gamma Point Capital, he was a partner at IDG Ventures where he led VC investments in the fintech, SaaS, and blockchain sectors. He has previously held roles at Intel Capital and iSPIRT on the investment and corporate development teams. He earned a BE in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai, an MS in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech, and is currently a visiting faculty at The Duke Fuqua School of Business.
