Biography
Mr. Gerrit Lansing serves as Head, US Investments and TIG at BTG Pactual. He Co-Founded and served as Chief Executive Officer & President at Equator. A successful entrepreneur and experienced investor, he oversees the company's Timber and Environmental Markets businesses and also leads company-wide strategic planning and development. In addition to his role at the Equator, he was the Founder of Madison Trading, LLC, as well as Chatham Energy Partners, LLC (acquired by The Intercontinental Exchange, NYSE ticker "ICE"). He is on the Board of the First Presbyterian Church Nursery School in New York City, and La Fundación de la Universidad del Valle de Guatemala. He received his B.A. from Duke University.
