Biography

Mr. Gurvinder Batra served as Chief Technology Officer & Local Intelligence at Walkspan. He is a Co-Founder & serves as Chief Technology Officer, Co-Chief Operating Officer & Board Member at KiwiTech. He serves as Chief Technology Officer at League Network. He was previously the Chief Technologist and President of Publishing at Aptara and President of Techbooks. GurvinderBatra has led teams that have successfully launched over 75 apps and enterprise software solutions. He also served as the Acting Chief Technology Officer at Dinegigs. He s a technologist who works with startups and enterprises across industries helping them with their complex technology needs. He is Co-Founder and CTO of KiwiTech where he oversees the company's wide range of technology development, steers R&D work and spearheads overall operations of the company. He has a long-standing history of enabling clients to drive innovation, harness emerging technology trends, and quickly bring cutting-edge products to market. In 1987, he graduated from the prestigious engineering school, Jamia Millia Islamia University in New Delhi, where he earned an engineering degree in electronics and communications. He has a solid background in developing software based on the eXtensible Markup Language (XML). He previously served as CTO and President of Aptara, the world's largest publishing services company, where he helped create XMLPublish™ - the industry's first front-end XML workflow process that ensures the simultaneous production of high-quality content for a full range of publishing formats, both print, and electronics.
