Biography

Mr. Paul Doyle Co-Founded and served as its Chief Executive Officer at VerifyValid. He served as Product & Technical Partner at Torch Hill Investment Partners. Paul is a highly regarded innovator in security standards, systems and processes with a track record of more than 25 years of achievement. Paul founded VerifyValid to revolutionize check writing and help prevent check fraud, building on his many years of experience in data security and integrity. He previously founded Proofspace, a leading provider of data integrity solutions, and co-invented the company's ProofMark System. He also co-founded the Information Assurance Consortium, a nonprofit business league dedicated to developing standards for secure and verifiable business processes. Paul co-chairs the AIIM C-22 Legal Standards Committee and has been made a US delegate ISO. He is one of a select group of non-lawyer members of the American Bar Association's Information Security Committee, the Business Law Section's Cyberlaw Committee, and the Sedona Conference Working Group 1. Paul was an invited subject matter expert asked to observe and contribute to the Uniform Law Commission's Electronic Legal Materials Act Drafting Committee. Paul is a frequent speaker on the joint topics of information security, technology and the law. He has been a contributor to several landmark publications, including co-author of The Sedona Conference Commentary on ESI Evidence and Admissibility and the American Bar Association's Foundation of Digital Evidence. He has also been an invited expert on the Financial Services Technology Consortium's "Records Management and Information Governance for Unstructured Data" project. In addition, Paul has worked with Torch Hill Investment Partners, a Washington, DC-based private equity firm that invests in companies that further homeland security, supply chain integrity, defense, intelligence and civil and corporate security, as a Product and Technical Partner. A social media enthusiast, Paul also founded Profitecture, a company that provides social media education to B2B companies and their business partners.
