Biography

Mr. Timm Schipporeit serves as Partner at Perella Weinberg Partners. Mr. Schipporeit is Angel Investor. He S is a Partner in Perella Weinberg Partners' Advisory Business. He focuses on providing strategic and financial advice to clients across the FinTech and Tech sectors. Mr. Schipporeit has more than 19 years of investment banking and investing experience. Most recently, he started and scaled the EMEA franchise at FT Partners, an investment banking firm focused exclusively on the financial technology sector, as the Managing Director from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, he was a venture and growth equity investor with Index Ventures, from 2015 to 2017. From 2003 to 2015, Timm worked at Morgan Stanley in its European Technology Investment Banking Group advising FinTech, software and internet clients on M&A and capital markets mandates. Mr. Schipporeit has advised FinTech clients including Adyen, Checkout, Currencycloud, Ebury, Fawry, Friss, GoCardless, GPS, Interswitch, Iyzico, iZettle, Klarna, MFS Africa, Moneyfarm, Net1, Nium, Nutmeg, OakNorth, Payworks, PPRO, Tide and Worldpay. Across the broader Tech sector he has advised clients including Criteo, Just Eat, King, Rocket Internet, SAP, Signicat, Supercell, and Zalando. Timm has strong relationships in the venture and growth capital ecosystem and a track record of raising private capital for and selling growth companies. Timm holds a MSc in Business Administration having studied at the University of Passau and London School of Economics.
