Biography

Ms. Geraldine O'Rourke serves as Chief Operating Officer at Aztec Group. As Chief Operating Officer, she has overall responsibility for Aztecs client service delivery and day to day operational leadership of the business. She is responsible for the delivery of the five-year plan with a specific focus on our people, our clients and our operations. She holds BSc in psychology. She joined Aztec in 2015, she led the build-out of our multi-jurisdictional corporate services offering, developing an experienced team of accountants, company secretaries, administrators, trustees and lawyers. As well as driving the development of our comprehensive suite of specialist alternative investment corporate administration services, she led the growth and extension of our offering across new markets and service lines, including listed fund services, outsourced governance support, management incentive plans, private fund administration and MOME services. In 2018 her mandate was broadened to encompass leadership of our market-leading depositary services offering. She assumed responsibility for a team of senior depositary professionals operating across Aztec's UK and European offices while providing strategic direction in relation to the development of our depositary platform. She has extensive experience in corporate services, fund administration and employee benefits. As Head of the Corporate Services division at RBC, she was responsible for the corporate services and private equity fund administration teams. She also founded and built the corporate division of Abacus Financial Services Group, which was acquired by RBC in 2005.
