Biography

Mr. Urs Stiphout served as the Chief Executive Officer at KMU Factoring. Urs van Stiphout studied at the University of Geneva Law and Business Administration and graduated with a degree from both studies. He also has a Master in Business Administration from the INSEAD business school in Fontainebleau (France) and is admitted to the bar in the cantons of Zurich and Aargau. Prior to his MBA Urs van Stiphout worked at a renowned business-oriented law firm in Zurich. After completing his MBA, he from 2000 to 2002 an international bank in New York (USA) where he advised technology companies on capital market transactions and in mergers and acquisitions. From 2002 he worked in London (United Kingdom) at the same bank and advised Scandinavian, Swiss and German banks and insurance companies on capital market issues and corporate takeovers. Urs van Stiphout In 2007 returned to Switzerland to become an entrepreneur. In addition to his involvement as a partner in the SME Factoring AG he is also a partner in the family firm van Stiphout Rechtsanwälte in Baden. Urs van Stiphout lives with his family in the Baden.
