Biography

Mr. Chris Jaynes Co-Founded and served as Chief Executive Officer & Board Member at PERFUSIX Canada. Mr. Chris Jaynes began his career in the organ procurement field in 1992 with Donor Alliance. In 1996, Mr. Jaynes co-founded Statline, an organ transplant communication service company, which grew to a 70% market share in just three years and processed more than 3 million calls annually. Mr. Jaynes then launched a number of free-standing Medicare-Certified pulmonary rehabilitation clinics for patients awaiting lung transplant, turning into an innovative medical device and national rehabilitative service company which was acquired in 2005. Most recently, Mr. Jaynes was the Program Manager for XVIVO Perfusion. During this time he worked closely with the Toronto General Hospital surgeons Drs. Keshavjee, Cypel, and Waddell to develop and refine the ex-vivo lung perfusion technology. Mr. Jaynes was instrumental in the development processes from design and engineering through manufacturing and the regulatory approval.
