Biography

Mr. Ethan Powell serves as Principal and Chief Investment Officer at Brookmont Capital Management. He served as an Executive Vice President, Chief Product Strategist, and Chair of the Fund Boards at Highland Capital Management. Previously, he served as a Transaction Advisory Services Manager at Ernst & Young. He founded the nonprofit affiliate asset manager Impact Shares. Additionally, he serves as the Chairman of the board for three mutual fund complexes totaling over $4 billion in assets. Previously, he held several roles at Highland Capital Management Fund Advisors, L.P. including head of product and strategy, portfolio manager, and interested board chair. He received an MS in Management Information Systems and a BS in Accounting from Texas A&M University. He was a Certified Public Accountant and has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
