Biography

Mr. Zion Shohet serves as Equity Partner, Chief Operating Officer, & Member of Management, Valuation, Compliance and Operational Risk, Allocation, and Cyber Risk Committees at Elliott Management. Mr. Shohet will be responsible for Operations, Finance and Accounting, IT Infrastructure and Applications, Physical and Cyber Security, and counterparty relationships. Mr. Shohet joins us from Citigroup, where he served as an Executive Vice President and Head of the Global Regulatory Reform and Implementation group, overseeing Citi's firm-wide response to financial regulatory reform. Prior to Citigroup, Mr. Shohet was Director at eFinanceworks from 2000 to 2001, Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company from 1995 to 2000, and an Analyst at Oliver, Wyman and Company from 1990 to 1992. Mr. Shohet received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School and was a Member of the Harvard Law Review. He received his B.A., magna cum laude, in Economics from Princeton University.
