Biography

Mr. Cary Pollack is an Angel Investor. He served as Partner at Ignite Venture Partners. Mr. Pollack has taken companies public and has successfully started and exited five companies of his own. He ran an international charity and helped create diplomatic relations between Israel and Croatia. Over his 40-year career in finance he has earned a reputation for integrity and results. The first half of Pollack's career was spent on Wall Street, where he was an executive at Bear Stearns, Credit Suisse First Boston, and Lehman Brothers. For the past 20 years he has been an investor in more than ten companies, a consultant to many more, mentored innumerable executives and served on the boards of both public and private companies. Some of Pollack's more noteworthy investor/director portfolio companies over this time-frame have been; Liboza Holdings, Inc., ABA Holding Company, Inc., ClubCom, Inc., Eptheca Solutions and Cable Satisfaction International. Pollack is an Executive-in-Residence at the Thunderbird School of Global Management. Pollack has been active in the non-profit sector as both an operator and board member. He was the President of Access/Middle East, focused on disseminating fact-based communications regarding Middle-East affairs. He was Director of Met Council which advocated for and met the multiple needs of New York City's Jewish poor. And was Director/Founder of the NYC Branch of American Liver Foundation which advocated and promoted education and research for the prevention, treatment and cure of liver disease. Pollack has a BA from Lehman College of New York and a Masters of International Affairs/Diplomacy from Columbia University.
