Biography

Mr. Peter Trovato is the Co-Founder & Managing Director at Copley Equity Partners. He serves as a Board Member at ClearCost Health. He served as a Board Member at Perkins Biomedical Services and The AeroMed Group. He worked for Summit Partners, a private equity, and venture capital firm. At Summit, he was a member of the firm's venture capital team and was primarily focused on making $5-$30 million growth equity investments and assisting in the development of Summit's portfolio companies. Mr. Trovato served as a Board Member at Gregory FCA Communications. Before Summit, he played professional ice hockey for several teams throughout the United States and also founded and served as the Executive Director of the Massachusetts Soldiers Legacy Fund, a charitable trust established for the children of fallen U.S. servicemembers. His board directorships and investments include Madwire Media, a technology-enabled digital marketing firm based in Colorado; Oxus Environmental, a provider of medical waste treatment services in New England; ClearCost Health, a healthcare price transparency software company based in San Francisco; and GameFace Media, the world's largest publisher of amateur athletic photos. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the University of Massachusetts-Amherst Foundation, Commonwealth Honors College at UMass-Amherst, the Boston Cannons professional lacrosse team, and Major League Lacrosse (MLL). He received an MBA from Harvard Business School and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst with a BA in Political Science and a BA in Journalism. Mr. Trovato also served as a Board Member at North Star Leasing.
