Biography
Ms. Wayee Chu serves as Co-Founder & Partner at Reach Capital. Ms. Chu serves as Advisor at Clayful. She sources and supports start-ups that bring access and opportunity to all students. Wayee co-founded the NewSchools Seed Fund in 2006. Prior to her work in education, Wayee worked in equity research at Merrill Lynch and started her career at Morgan Stanley. She served as Advisor at Handle. In addition to her role at Reach, she currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and supports several Bay Area education non-profit organizations including New Leaders, Bay Area and Beyond12. She earned a BA in Economics and Political Science from the University of Michigan and enjoys exploring the world with her husband and children.
