Biography

Mr. Aref Afsari served as Partner at Paul Hastings. He is an associate in the Corporate department of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm's Orange County office. Mr. Afsari is a member of the firm's Private Equity and Mergers and Acquisitions practice groups. Mr. Afsari represents public and private companies, private equity funds, senior management and high net-worth individuals in mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financings, and general corporate, business and commercial matters. He has extensive experience representing companies in connection with a variety of commercial agreements, including service, supply, distribution, lease, license, employment, consulting, non-disclosure, partnership, and joint venture agreements. In addition, he has represented companies across a variety of industries, including aerospace, agriculture, automotive, construction, consumer products and services, energy (including oil & gas), financial products and services, healthcare, manufacturing, media, mining, pharmaceutical, retail, software, supply chain, technology, telecommunications and transportation. His public company experience includes representation of companies in connection with mergers and acquisitions, and public offerings and private placements of debt and equity securities, including tender offers, exchange offers and Rule 144A offerings.
