Biography

Mr. Steve Landau serves as Partner, Head of Product Strategy, Chair of the New Product Committee & Member of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Investment Pricing Committees at Adams Street Partners. He has more than 20 years of investment management experience with a focus on product development and M&A, including 15 years of developing and launching a range of alternative investment products and private markets strategies. Before joining Adams Street, he was Head of Product Development at FS Investments, a $20 billion alternative asset manager. Prior to that, Mr. Landau was Head of Product Development and Alternative Investment Business Development at New York Life Investment Management where he led product innovation for the multi-boutique investment platform across traditional and alternative strategies. Before New York Life, he worked at Morgan Stanley Investment Management, where he was responsible for product development and management for alternative investments. Earlier, Mr. Landau served as Director of Product Development at UBS Global Asset Management. He began his career at the Republic National Bank of New York as a fund manager and trader. Mr. Landau is a CFA charter holder and holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Sy Syms School of Business at Yeshiva University. Mr. Landau is a member of the Orthodox Union Investment Committee.
